Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to book an appointment?
Yes, we work by appointment only at both of our Hartlepool and Sunderland stores, as you will have exclusive access to a private fitting room and one-to-one stylist during your appointment time. We open exclusively for appointments. Appointments can be booked via our online booking system on our "Visit Us" page or via contacting on our Social Media pages. We do not have a telephone booking system.
What is the price range of your prom dresses?
We have two large show-rooms in each of our stores. The main collection show-room in each store houses all of the latest collection dresses which are available to order in various colours and sizes. These gowns range in price from £325-£650.
Our Outlet show-room in each store houses our "off-the-peg" range. These gowns cannot be special ordered in different sizes or colours. They are available only in the sizes/colours we have in store. These gowns are ALL UNDER £325 and starting from only £75.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, we offer interest free payment plans to spread the cost of your dress on all of our Main Collection gowns.
Dresses from our Outlet Showroom are to pay for in full and take-away on the day.
Can someone else at my school get the same prom dress as me?
We keep a schools book to guarantee that we will not sell the same dress to the same school, not even in a different colour! However, as with all other prom dress stores/prom dress suppliers, we cannot guarantee that someone cannot purchase the same dress at a different store around the country, as prom designers give stores exclusivity for their towns only. WE SHARE A SCHOOLS BOOK ACROSS BOTH OF OUR STORES, so if you buy a dress from our Hartlepool store, we will not sell that same dress in any colour from our Sunderland store, and vice-versa. This greatly reduces the likelihood of someone having the same dress as you from another store as we have a wider range of exclusivity.
What can I expect from my Prom Dress appointment?
On arrival to your appointment, you will be greeted by your personal stylist who will discuss with you your ideas and explain how our studio works. You will then have the opportunity to view our dress collection and select styles that you'd like to try. Your personal stylist will help fit the dresses on to you (fastening any corsets backs, using clips to show a perfect fit, helping you on and off the step etc). To ensure prom girls feel completely comfortable during their fittings, if you prefer to, we would recommend wearing some cycle shorts and a nude stick on bra or nude strapless bra. All Prom Girls must be accompanied by their own parent/legal guardian.
Do you do dress alterations?
The vast majority of Prom Girls will require some alteration to their dress to achieve the perfect fit. We don't do dress alterations in store, however we can provide all of our customers a recommendation list of local professional seamstresses and dress makers, who alter the majority of our customer dresses to achieve the perfect fit! Customers are not required to use our list of recommendations and can use a seamstress of their own choice if they would prefer.
