Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to book an appointment?
Yes, we work by appointment only as you will have exclusive access to a private fitting room and one-to-one stylist during your appointment time.
What is the price range of prom dresses?
Our full price, non-sale prom dresses start from £199, up to £625. The average price is around £395.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit will secure your bridal or prom dress and then the balance will be payable within 3 months or when your dress arrives if longer than 3 months..
Can someone else at my school get the same prom dress as me?
We keep a schools book to guarantee that we will not sell the same dress to the same school, not even in a different colour! However, as with all other prom dress stores/prom dress suppliers, we cannot guarantee that someone cannot purchase the same dress at a different store around the country, as prom designers give boutiques exclusivity for their towns only. We are proudly partnered with Lace & Lily boutique, Sunderland - meaning we share a schools book, so if you buy a dress from us, that they also stock, if someone from your school visits Lace & Lily, they won't be able to purchase your dress from either us or them in any colour! This partnership greatly reduces the likelihood of someone having the same dress as you from another store.
When should I start looking for my wedding dress?
We'd recommend having your wedding venue and date booked before wedding dress shopping, as the style you look for may depend on your venue and time of year. Around 12 months before your wedding is the best time to purchase your wedding dress.
Do you do dress alterations?
We don't do dress alterations in store, however we can provide all of our customers a recommendation list of local professional bridal/prom seamstresses and dress makers, who alter the majority of our customer dresses to achieve the perfect fit! Customers are not required to use our list of recommendations and can use a seamstress of their own choice if they would prefer.
